How do wax melts work?
Wax melts work by releasing the fragrance oil in the wax once the wax is melted. ... When you've had enough you simply turn off or blow out the tealight and you can allow the wax to set and use again. Once the wax starts to lose it's scent you simply remove and replace with fresh wax.

In terms of breathing around a wax melt – yes. The wax has a hotter evaporation point than the fragrance oil which means you will not breathe in any fumes from burning wax as long as you have an 11cm gap between the tealight and the wax pool above.
Of course, molten wax is hot and will be anything over 55c when molten. They should always be kept out of reach of dogs, cats or babies to avoid accidental spillages.

Why do some wax melts have white spots on the outside?
This is simply known as frosting and does not impede the quality or scent throw at all. We use Soy wax as oppose to the paraffin wax which is used by a lot of companies due it being a cheaper ingredient and it does hold the colour better but when compared to paraffin wax, Soy wax releases very little toxins when melting and is much better for the environment. So although it costs us a little more, we prefer to help keep you and the environment protected. The frosting is simply the wax trying to revert back to its natural form.
When should I change the wax melt in my wax burner?
This is all down to you. A quarter of one of our wax melt deli pots should easily last you the burn of an 8 hour tea-light, or more.
Can I use wax melts in an oil burner?
We would recommend not to as the heat settings will be optimized for oil, which has a different evaporation temperature to wax.

Every hoover is different but generally if you can locate your filter (big sponge) lift it out and place 1 hoover disc underneath before putting your filter back in place. When you then hoover up, the air that comes out of the hoover will be highly scented.

Bath bombs are made with baking soda or sodium bicarbonate, which provides a naturally high alkaline substance with a reputation for helping to remove toxins. Baking soda's natural sodium content and alkalinity give the bathwater a silky feel and baking soda can help with a number of common health issues. The plant oils and baking soda soothes and adds moisture to the skin. Along with the pleasant scent and essential oils, bath bombs can also create an aroma therapeutic effect.
Bubble Bath is made with soap for cleansing the surface of the skin to help loosen dirt and oil. They make bubbles for a short time and dissolve while softening the water.
Bath Salts are high in minerals and also work to help remove toxins, depending on what bath salts you are using. Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) soothe tired muscles by relieving the lactic acid build-up caused from muscle exertion and are therefore recommended for people with back pain, arthritis, muscle tension or spasms, and minor work and sports injuries. Pink Himalayan and sea salts help draw out toxins, deep cleanse the skin, and cleanse the body energetically.
What are bath bombs made from?
We mix together citric acid and baking soda, then add a blend of essential oils, plant oils and a bit of witch hazel to help it stick together. The mixture then gets pressed into a mould.
What makes a bath bomb fizz?
The reaction between baking soda and citric acid is responsible for the fizzing action. When the bomb touches water, the sodium bicarbonate in it reacts with the citric acid to release carbon dioxide gas. The bath bomb starts to break apart as this happens, releasing with it the pigments, essential oils, and skin-conditioning plant oils.
Can I cut my bath bomb in half to get 2 uses?
You can try this, but from our experience they may break and crumble. The pieces will then dissolve faster than a whole bath bomb. Our bath bombs are designed for single use. To get the full benefits we do recommend using the entire bomb in your bath. If you choose to take it out of the water half way through and keep it for later it might still fizz the next time you use it, but it won't be as effective.

Are bath bombs gluten free?
All of our bath bombs are gluten free, with the exception of Oatmeal and Honey.
Are bath bombs safe for children?
Our bath bombs are safe to use for children ages 2 and over.
Can bath bombs irritate skin?
Our bath bombs should not irritate your skin, but they should not be used with broken or irritated skin. It is important to note that reactions to scent blends and essential oils are possible, so make sure you know what works best for your skin.
Do bath bombs change the colour of the bath water?
Our white bath bombs turn the water a little cloudy, whilst our colourful bath bombs will change the colour of the water.
Do bath bombs stain the tub?
Baking soda itself does not leave a residue and is commonly used in cleaning. To make them more fun we've added colours, essential oils and organic plant oils which hydrate the skin wonderfully but can also cause the pigments and essential oil colours to cling to the tub wall. Colours will build up more with each use so it is best to wipe residue away each time to make cleaning easy. If not, regular cleaning products and a bit of scrubbing may be required.
